Our Practice

For the last ten years, I thought about the idea of an unconventional dental office: a dental office geared truly to the convenience of the patient and not to the convenience of the doctor. In November 2007, after retiring from a conventional practice of dentistry in Florence, Kentucky, I opened the first Urgent Dental Care in Florence, Kentucky. In October 2009 we opened the West Chester, Ohio office. My goal was to provide a dental office where the patient decides when he or she comes to the office because we are truly a walk-in clinic. Sure, you can make an appointment if you want, but suppose you found out that you are free today between 3 and 4 o’clock? You can just walk in.

In November 2008, we opened our second Urgent Dental Care in Louisville, Kentucky. We are a full service dental practice and can provide routine dental services such as cleanings, fillings, root canal therapy, bridgework and dentures, in addition to emergency care. We are here for you.

Most days, we have two doctors on staff so your wait time is as minimal as possible. If it suits you better, call ahead and see how busy we are.

Payments
Urgent Dental Care is a provider with Delta Dental and can file claims with other dental insurance companies as long as you have a PPO plan or traditional plan. We are a Fee-For-Service dental practice which means you pay for services on the day they are provided. If you have insurance, you pay only the portion we estimate your insurance company will not be paying. We bill the insurance company for the difference. After the insurance pays us, we can bill you for any difference or send you a refund if you have overpaid. We accept check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Care Credit.
